Simple Daily Spinal Hygiene

Heard of dental hygiene? What about spinal hygiene? Just as you brush and floss your teeth, don’t neglect to “brush and floss” your spine daily!

Here are some simple exercises – remember, motion is lotion.

Note
Where possible,
– Contract the muscles for a slow count of 4 (10-15 seconds).
– HOLD each stretch for 15-30 seconds.
– Then relax them for a slow count of 4 (10-15 seconds).
Do for 3 – 5 repetitions, 1-2 times a day.
If you experience pain during any stretch/exercise, stop and consult your doctor before continuing.
