1. What is chiropractic?

Chiropractic care is designed to locate and analyse areas of dysfunction in the spine and nervous system and remove these interferences to normal body function. Think of the scope of chiropractic as the scope of the nervous system. Learn more about chiropractic and its history here and find more articles on our blog.

2. How is it different from medicine, physiotherapy, osteopathy, or Chinese Traditional Medicine (acupuncture, tuina)?

Each field holds a different piece of the puzzle that is the human body. Depending on the school and country of training and practice, the scope of practice will differ.

Watching your posture and ergonomics is a big thing because these are micro-traumas that add up. Also, other health-building habits like a balanced diet and staying active help. That said, like how you take care of your teeth and get them checked by a professional regularly, you should your spine too.

6. I have aches and pain, how can chiropractic help me?

Many people have found relief for their aches and pain with chiropractic care. Chiropractic helps in removing joint restriction, reducing nerve interference, restoring brain-body communication, and more. Find out more about pain and chiropractic here.

7. I have no aches or pain, why should I see a chiropractor?

Dysfunction in the spine and nervous system may not always result in symptoms like pain, yet affect how the body functions. Pain and degeneration happen over time. To know if you have such a dysfunction that you can do without, get your spine checked by a chiropractor. More about chiropractic and its many benefits here.
